Let me fill you in on Grassroots Kava House. We're not your typical kava bar; we're a community-driven hub with three spots in the greater Tampa Bay area.

Since 2017, we've been dishing out the finest Vanuatu Kava, kratom, locally roasted coffee, herbal teas, kombuchas, and more! But it's not just about the drinks – it's about the vibe we’ve been able to create around Grassroots over the past couple of years. At Grassroots Kava House you can find a cozy, creative space where you can unwind, work, or just make connections with like minded people.

Now, picture this: St. Petersburg, 2017. We started a build-out at a rundown space, dreaming of transforming it. It took two years of hard work, lots of support from friends, and a whole bunch of sweat and tears to make our vision a reality. When we finally opened up, the community welcomed us with open arms. Suddenly, the Edge District was buzzing, and we were right in the thick of it!

In our early days at Grassroots Kava House, we stumbled upon two invaluable lessons that could greatly benefit anyone contemplating starting a journey of their own.

First up, clear policies aren't just pieces of paper – they're the backbone of running a smooth operation. Take the time to lay out clear guidelines for everything, from how you greet customers to how you manage inventory. And don't forget to get your team involved – their input is gold. Oh, and stay flexible – things change, and you gotta roll with it.

Secondly, being a leader in the kava scene isn't about being in charge – it's about building a community and lifting up your team.
